G-cafe Updater
What is G-cafe Updater?
G-cafe updater is a game management software that simplifies and speeds up the process of patching and updating games installed in your cybercafé, saving you the time and effort from having to manually patch your games.
What are the different installation modes?
For G-cafe Updater installations, you have two modes to choose from:

Disk Mode
In Disk Mode, the individual Hard Disk Drives (HDD) of your client PCs are used to store your game files. Patches and game files have to be transferred from the server PC to the client PCs.

Diskless Mode
In Diskless Mode, client PCs do not need to have individual Hard Disk Drives (HDD). Games are launched via virtual images linked to the server PC.
What are the advantages of Disk Mode and Diskless Mode?
Refer to the table below:
Figure0

For Diskless Mode

What is the difference between G-cafe Updater's Free Version and Full Version?
G-cafe Updater: Free Version
This version is completely free-of-charge and provides you with a basic platform experience. This version has no access to G-cafe’s server or Resource Download Center (RDC), which means that you will have to manually download the latest game patches/updates to your server PC and manually use the Push Function.

G-cafe Updater: Full Version
This version has various monthly plans to fit your needs and provides you with a complete platform experience. This version has full access to G-cafe’s server or Resource Download Center (RDC), which allows full use of the Automated Game Update and Access to All Games features.
Do we still need an anti-virus software?
You need an antivirus for the server PC. Through G-café Updater, the client PCs are equipped with a restore function that automatically resets the PCs to their normal working conditions, removing temporary files and harmful viruses.
Why should there be 3 partitions?
The Cache Memory needs a dedicated space. By managing the Cache Memory of your PCs, the chances of BSOD is minimized. This is also needed for the Restore Function and the Push Function to run smoothly.
